Philokalia Ministries Update

I received the following email and pictures from Jerry and Pam Headen this morning:
Dear Friends and Supporters of Philokalia Ministries:
We are pleased to report that work began on the first part of the site preparation on Philokalia's land in Thailand on April 21; attached are three pictures showing the laying of a culvert in the irrigation ditch at the front of the property in preparation for building the road in, a view of the road from inside the property looking back toward the entrance, and a view of the pond as it is taking shape.

It has already begun to rain some, but it shouldn't be a hindrance to finishing up this first part of the work. There is considerable excitement among those involved in Philokalia's life and work in Thailand, and Pam and I are excited about being involved with the following stages of development once we are back there.
We also are pleased to announce that Jerry passed the oral examination on his Doctor of Ministry project yesterday, and so has completed all requirements for the degree, which he will receive at Emmanuel's commencement ceremony on May 25.
