Look who visited our youth center yesterday.

No, we didn’t find this Red-tailed Hawk inside the building, he was brought in by Robb Herbst, a falconer from Ferrum.

Robb was making a presentation to the teens from the Boys and Girls Club Teen Center. As an outreach to the community, our church partners with them, enabling them to use our youth center and gym each afternoon (Mon-Fri) from 3:00-6:00 pm.

Along with the Red-tailed hawk that you see pictured, he also had an American Kestrel and a Barn Owl.

Laurie said it was a fascinating presentation. The teens loved it!
